I love Earth & Sky radio's skywatching center. It always features tonight's sky chart and weather, plus skywatching tips and any news. Find out when the moon will rise, what phase of the moon we're in, and where visible planets will be in the sky and when you should look. Plus, it's packed with links to other resources, like interviews with scientists and web planetariums. And you can blog! Check it out...

ARTiFactor says:

If the night sky is cloudy you can use your computer to create a virtual sky. You can speed up time, too,so days and nights go by in minutes. You can zoom in with telescopic vision, or even create falling stars. You need to download Stellarium. It is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope.
Note: The link to stellarium is hard to get into so you might need to try more than once. Or try this Google cache.
