Death rates due to cancer are dropping faster than ever, according to a report from the American Cancer Society. The improvement is largely due to big drops in colorectal cancer – the second-leading killer among cancers. Fewer people are contracting the disease, and among those who do, early detection and treatment are improving survival rates.
