I think this is a really interesting idea - I wonder if images from space would show any difference, or if the municipal light pollution would still be too much.

Their server is really slow as I can see this story has been picked up by a lot of news services, but it is a cool idea, I think - and I am signing up as an individual to participate.

I wish my city was partnering...

if all the lights was to go out in minnesota people would go crazy lol man ni lights man to the kids that would be fun but for the alduts they thinking about people breaking in there house and worrieing about the kids why they having fun lol
