National Radio Quiet Zone

In doing some background reading for the Arecibo post I learned that the US has a 13,000 square mile National Radio Quiet Zone that straddles Virginia and West Virginia. I thought that was interesting. To see it on a map, launch Google Maps and search "National Radio Quiet Zone".
