Skeptical scientist reproduces Shroud of Turin

by mdr on Oct. 07th, 2009

An Italian scientist and self-described skeptic named Luigi Garlaschelli has successfully reproduced the Shroud of Turin, one of the most famous and controversial relics of the Catholic Church. You can read about it here, and there's also a link to Garlaschelli's own website where you can compare his reproduction against the original (although when I visited the site it had exceeded its bandwidth limit and temporarily inaccessible due to extreme interest in the subject).
