Check out this really great and perplexing optical illusion. When I first watched the figure spinning, it was only going clockwise. I had my wife watch it with me, and to her it was spinning counter-clockwise, while still spinning clockwise to me. Then it started spinning counter-clockwise for me, and was suddenly spinning clockwise for my wife. For a while it spun clockwise for both of us - occasionally switching back and forth at the same time, but then after a while we were out of sync again. It’s a great example of how the brain perceives things. An explanation of the phenomenon can be found here along with some debunking as to what it all means. In the meantime, I'm very dizzy.

I just watched the image for way to long. She has a nice figure, but I could only see it spinning clockwise!

Any insight on why it wouldnt effect everyone?
