good job! students from De La Salle High School are really known to have above average knowledge! i just hope that they will give discounts on this cars if ever brought to the markets since they are just students. lol! we all know how pricy cars nowadays can be. I also think that they should make some online car diagnostic for this so that it will be more popular.
not much of a surprise from these kids. :D
I wonder how much the prices of car parts of electric cars and gas fueled ones differ. I guess electric cars' parts are more expensive since it's more trendy nowadays. Even car covers are pricey for an electric car.
That's right. Prices of electric cars are really high compared to a gas fueled one. everyone knows the advantages and disadvantages of one so people must really think about this more thoroughly. And about what tomysmith is saying, there are some parts and accessories of a gas fueled car that can be used to an electric car, and vice versa. like the car covers that i use until now. they are from my brother's toyota corolla but i am using it on my chevy volt. :-)
Hats off to the students Students of summer mentoring program at De La Salle High Schoo for building light-weight electric car that gets the equivalent of 400 miles per gallon.I agree that electric cars are more costly in comparison with fueled ones but here matters is the effort put by the students at such an young age.
