Warm seawater is dissolving Antarctica's ice shelves

Not surprising, I guess, but still troubling. The new study appears in the journal Science, and a report on it appears at Smithsonianmag.com.

i believe that with the warm sea waters destroying and melting the ice of Antarctica that there would be no animals nor travelers wanting to explore there.
