Hey Nate-

Maybe you're just having a hard time thinking of stuff because there's just too much to get your head around. The environment affects practically everything we do!

Think about health stuff first—bad air quality can give us respiratory problems, polluted water can make us sick, and we need sunlight to live (it regulates our internal clocks, it helps us produce vitamin D in our skin) but too much of it can burn us, or even cause us to develop skin cancer. Stuff like that.

Or consider how the environment affects the way we live. People have figured out ways of dealing with extreme heat and cold, depending on where they live. In different parts of the world, people wear different clothes, and live in different kinds of houses, and eat different foods—a lot of this is determined by the environment. And people settle in certain spots because the land is good for growing things, or because there are rivers to use, or because there's an ocean to provide food for them.

And this is a little more complicated, but the environment has determined how we evolved into humans in the first place (remember, evolution is all about living things changing to live more successfully in a certain set of environmental conditions).

Just try to think of some specific topics, and then search for those. Think about how you have to deal with the environment, and work your way up from there.

Well, I think breathing is more important than paper, if it was a choice. We're so advance in technology We could always do more electronically to save on paper, even using a Ipad or Ibooks on a daily basis, so many other options. Just thought I share my thought, gave me the impression you'll choose paper over, clean breathing air.

And cut down the trees and dig up the oil to make the elctricity to power things electronically. Doing things on computers compared to writing it out, isn't actually helping that much.

I think your blowing it out of perspective. If we evolve then that means that the world evolves, so when you cut down trees the world just adjusts itself to be able to cope with it, and trust me there is no shortage of trees.

Did anyone take into consideration that trees are a renewable resource. Maybe we should be focusing on the resources that are not renewable. Selective logging actually assists in preventing forest fires. Forest fires wreack havvock on not only trees but the animals that live in the forest. Logging is a lot less disruptive. Now OIL is not a renewable resource. Focus on a fuel that is safe for the environment and renewable. I would much rather people heat there houses with some firewood than propane or electricity.

Well think about it this way. WHAT would happen if humans keep abusing the enviornment? Sickness, death,
possible animal and human extinction? It's important to help keep the environment safe for our grandchildrens' children because if we don;t do something about this hazard, then we may be the cause of the next animal extinctions. Especially in the economies demands. Take the rainforest as an example. The mor we waste paper and use it for things like global newspapers and stuff the more those animals SUFFER!

STOP. THINK. BE CAREFUL. BE PRUDENT!

This is kind of appeal for all,
Please let us protect our environment. Because of our carelessness we are putting our lives in danger. Pause for a moment and think of the damages that are happening in our world, isn't it because of our own mistake? God has given us a beautiful world with beautiful resources, however, rather than protecting the environment we are destroying it.
Environment is life, without conducive environment we can't survive. Let us make our life enjoyable and longer by protecting our environment.
We have received green world, let us leave for others green world.

I wish people would do some reseach and stop repeating what theyre told without thinking.

We have MORE trees today than we did 50 or a 100 years ago. Trees are a renewable resource, when people cut themdown the plant MORE so they have more to cut down.

They are a serious cash crop, and very important to not only our environmental eosystem but also to our financial ecosystem

@Tree Huggers stink! We as a community can live without money if we all just shared amongst eachother the resources we all have. This would allow the human race to be a better and friendlier community and would eliminate unemployment and dept. This solution would also allow every person on earth the best oppurtunities available, which is something that can be negatily affected by money in some instances. Also if we eliminate money from our lives we would become a better race because it would allow the humans to function as a dependant race where each person contributes to some part of the over all culture and life style of humanity. I am aware that in some ways this is already true but if we were to eliminate money i think it would be a more possitive process. Also in your comment, your ideas appeare to show that money is more important than life which is something is wrong in today's societies and can be change and should be changed.

no trees no life?? Is this for oxygen.... because I didn't know filling Oxygen takes had anything to do with hanging out in the forest. Plus there are many other plants that do the same thing as trees. The biggest thing the trees do for us, is in the rain forest and that's store endangered animals.
