Only weeks after the Science Museum was open 24 hours a day for the closing of Body Worlds, Ben Stiller's new comedy about the unbelievable experiences of a museum night guard seems to come at the perfect time.
Although Night at the Museum officially opens on December 22, the Bell Museum of Natural History will hold a free public screening of the film on Thursday, December 21. Guided flashlight tours of the Bell Museum will be available afterward ($5 for adults; $3 for children).
Having worked one of the night shifts at the Science Museum earlier this month, it's reassuring to know from firsthand experience that—despite the movie's special effects—dinosaur fossils and diorama figures do not come to life at night.
