Author and social media expert, Pamela Meyer, studies why people lie and how to detect when they're doing so. It seems to be a popular subject lately. Some recent television dramas (e.g. LIE TO ME and THE MENTALIST) center around characters who can spot a lie a mile away based on body language and mini facial cues.
