About me

I live in MN, I have 3 chickens and a guinea pig. I volunteer, hang out, and horseback ride at a ranch called Seeds of Hope every week. My favorite horse is a 6 year old American Quarter Horse named Blaze. (He has a twin named Thunder). I like to act, sing, read, write, and I like studying the Periodic Table of the Elements.

About me

I live in St. Paul, MN and am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota. When I'm not working on my thesis, I spend my time outside. I have a dog, three chickens and two ducks. The birds live in my backyard and give me four to five eggs a day. They are the best eggs you've ever had and the birds are so funny to watch!

Science is watching the natural world, wondering about what you see and finding the unknown. Science is not facts, science is questions.

A car that runs on carbon dioxide and a teleporter, so I could instantly travel anywhere in the world.

When I'm analyzing my data for my thesis, I use a ton of math and statistics.

I'm the FP&A manager that just begun working at GE Fleet. Prior to Fleet, I was part of the Corporate Audit Staff at GE Corporate & prior to then, I was working in the Financial Management Program for GE Healthcare. I'm originally from Michigan & I'm looking forward to exploring Minneapolis!! I love the outdoors... boating, hiking, skiing, running & I'm looking to take up biking as well!

The history of the world and our cultures. As Americans we are so forward looking we have no respect for the past and seem not to learn from mistakes. We forget major cultural changes that occur 10 to 50 years ago that shape us today.

What technology do you use every day?

I am surrounded by technology. I have become so used to it that I barely recognize it. When I go to the Boundary Waters, I am reminded of what it is like to have limited technology.

What math do you use every day?

All day, every day. I am an accountant and deal with numbers in the financial world. I also use math in shopping for groceries, going out to eat, and making purchases of any kind.

In the libraries i've seen the children have always been living really close to the library or they are old enough to ride a bike or bus to go to the library, mind you this is just a burst or an idea. I mean do you go to the library a lot because you live close to it? I certainly would!
