The apple variety, currently known at the University of Minnesota Arboretum as MN-447, needs a proper name. What do you think this small, sweet and sometimes cracked apple should be called? Send in your suggestion.

We are another first grade class from Lamping ES. We held a brainstorming session for possible names that would describe the new apple and would motivate people to try it. The top two names we came up with are LITTLE SWEETHEART and PINK BABY.
I like granny smith better! Yum!
This is coming from Mrs. Markowicz class. We did a lesson on healthy snacks with an emphasis on apples. We saw your web site and decided we would like to enter Sweet Delicious as our class entry for naming the new apple. We are hoping the other 1st grade classes at Lamping will also make suggestions.
