Rauffella palmipes

Rauffella palmipes

Trace fossil of feeding burrows from Late Ordovician worms. The fossils are found in Decorah shale around in and around the Twin Cities in Minnesota. This specimen was found at Shadow Falls near the west end of Summit Avenue at East River Road in St. Paul. The fossil trilobite in the upper right is a rolled-up specimen found in the same fossiliferous rock unit.
