The world’s oceans are slowly becoming acidic.
You don’t have to worry about seas of burning, caustic waves just yet; it’s a gradual shift in the oceans’ normal basic state. But the acidity of the oceans doesn’t have to change very much to make a difference to some of their most fragile—and most important—organisms.
