Museums don't know everything-tell us what YOU know about this sort of object.

Use the form at the bottom of this page to write a brief label about this object: a memory, an interesting fact, something you notice, even a poem.

The filters that NASA uses have not just prevented smells but saves lives! During the Apollo 13 mission the filters that were design to remove the CO2 from the cabin failed, because the duration of the time that was predetermined to support life was mis-calculated as the moon landing was scrubbed. NASA built a filter out of things that we find to be everyday items. including my personal favorite DUCT TAPE. to learn more about this consult your local library.

I never thought about what would happen to a fart on the space station. The thought of that gas and smell just hovering around is pretty gross.

I mean if your sneeze is a puff of spit floating in mid space, air whatever that is pretty disgusting. I wouldn't want to walk into something like that! This information is cool and some thing that i would definitly put on my cool but disgusting facts list!
