I wonder what if the flies were NOT allowed access to the pig... I found a dead groundhog in the woods upstate on my summer acreage and placed rocks and large branches around it to mark the area: I wished to get the skull later. Repeatedly I had to retrieve the body from where some -animal- had dragged it. I DO have the skull in my "box". The summer home was sold back in late 2003.
