I love the snow and ice here in the winter. That is becuase I love to Ski. People from midwest should be used to our weather.
There was an entire symposium dedicated to the topic of global warming. I think no matter what your opinion is on the subject, it can't hurt to recycle and respect the planet.
Winters are getting pretty messed up. It's hard to compare the winters.
global warming is alive and well. and the imcreasimgly odd weather changes all over the world such as smow occuring in odd states and increased rainfall. so yes its very apparent that global warming is here!

Too many people think that just because we have a little snow, that global warming is a fake. But overall, if you take a look at the average temperatures, you see a gradual upward trend that has messed with all the expected weather patterns. People just are in denial of it all.
scientists don't even buy the climate change scam. It's just a way for people to make money. It's not warmer now than before. anyone who buys into it is being deceived.
The wind chill is higher this year, making it colder outside. It is getting to be too cold for kids to go outside for recess.
If your from Hawaii you really don't know what cold is. I have lived here all my life and we had one of the worst storms that either me or my parents remember last year. Besides if your going to blame "global warming(if it really exists)" if has only risen one hundreth of a degree.

i think that the weather has definately more mild during the winter in just the 6 years ive lived here. I moved here from Hawaii and now in the end of December im wearing t-shirts!!
There were colder harsher winters when i was little over 25 years ago but also at least one where our first snow was Christmas morning. Two years ago was some of the mildest winter weather in Madison WI and last year was the snowiest winter ever on record.
People can always remember a "worse" winter. Back in '97 they say, but just because you can remember one or two worse winters, doesn't mean that they are getting warmer.
winters are always unpredictable, like this year, it got unseasonably cold before Christmas, even in SW MO where i am from. normally this time of year we are still in the 50's in the day time, now 30's, this year will be able to fish through the ice instead of open water like normally. that is why i voted the way i did.
when i was a kid, thte snow would be up over my head a couple of times a year.
now, it hardly gets higher than my knees or waist.
i remember it being so cold that i nearly froze to death walking the mile to school and back.
now, i practically have to take off my coat and gloves in my car, it feels so warm.
I believe we used to get more snow. As far as temps I think we had it just about the same. It depends on the year.

I said yes, because:
a:It got in the 30's yesterday,
b:there have been blizzards in the past, but notthis year.
first scientists say temps will rise over the next 50 years, now they say its getting colder. obviously more research is needed before we can conclude anything..

i think minnesotans are just becoming more wimpy winter-wise becasue we have been treated to some of the nicest summers for a few years now. the weather is cold as usual...its just that the roads are horrible...more horribly plowed than in the past?
while overall the temperatures may seem a bit warmer we have experienced some of the coldest days in minnesota particularily in mid december since 2000. BRRRRRRRRRRR.

Been here four years and have been disappointed by the low levels of snow each year. We moved here for the four seasons and for all of the snow we thought we'd be getting. Bummer Dude!

I think that the winters have been getting colder and colder as the years go by. I don't believe in global warming. God is just hugging us closer.
Why is there no option that mentions how winters are getting colder, just one for warmer and one for as cold? Seems like incomplete data collection to me.
I think that we have had a very long strech of this warm weather so if we average this years temperatures outthey will probably be on the top half of the scale.

i believe that all of the poop over the centuries has caused a exponential jump in averge temperature in the world
You need to learn what you are talking about. It is not just poop it is all pollution. Do not say things unless you understand them.
winters are getting warmer because of global warming. Global warming is caused by CO2. We can reduce our CO2 output by turning off the lights when we are not using them and using renewable energy such as solar power, wind power, geothermal power, biomass fuel, and hydroelectric power.

keith gray.. This website says smm. Science Museum of Minnesota. But on the topic, winter is getting warmer, still cold but warmer. Snow didn't offically started until 2 days after thanksgiving.
i live in a cold state minnesota the twin cities. tempature's here can get below freezing. i'm not kidding! it can get hairy! sometimes school gets delayed or cancelled. if you live in a cold state, you know what i'm talking about.

Winters vary like all seasons. Some summers are hotter, some wetter, etc. Winters are the same way. I don't think a reliable comparison can be made by simply comparing one year to the next. Rather, the average temperatures of a number of winters over a series of decades is needed for an accurate and informative comparison.
i think ita way to cold here instead of minnesota it should be called minnesnowta! but i guess im used to it. ive always lived here and ive grown to enjoy the snow and the winter activities.

Minnesota winters have always been harsh, but it seems that especially in the last couple of years it has been getting warmer. We've had less snow and its taken a longer time to get to the cold temperaturesof the harsh winter. Now we dont get a lot of snow til january or february , where as before we had a few feet of snow by then. Is this caused by global warming? Maybe, maybe not. Who's to say, i'm not a scientist. :)
