i think that falcor and santa's little helper are the best names
i dont see anything that says 'vote'
The falcons have been banded and named. They are Starshadow (F) PaTao (F) Lucky (M) Yugi (M). While "Santa's Litle Helper" received the most votes, a name length restriction we were not aware of disqualified the name when we submitted it, so the #2 name ended up being the name used. The other three names were selected by Bruce Vento Elementary School.

I closed my eyes, squinted a bit and closed the voting without looking at the votes at a pre-determined time so that it would be fair...just in case anyone was curious.

I think you should have more cameras like on every floor! It was fun playing hide and go seek with it. I found this to be a great learning experience! Thank you for getting us out of school for a day.
I think the the chicks should be call yanna because I have never heard of that namebefore. Our School will be getting a cat and it will be called Yanna so I think it will be a great name. \r\n
i think that we should give them a UNIQUE name....somethin' like stardust or Ge...or um...somethin' that is cute and adorable..like dope..or ace...ma...rocky...somethin' like that...

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you know that we will be closing the poll on Monday. The birds will be banded later that week and we want to get the name decided upon before that.
i chose this because the bird live at a power plant {tronic} and it's a bird {falco}
I think that the falcon(s) should be named after some names derived from Greece. That would be cool if they had names from mythological characters. :)

Just so everyone knows, we will be taking votes until the birds are set to be banded by the DNR. We are working on finding out when that should happen and will report back here soon.

We can't use "Fluffy" because that name has already been taken by another Peregrine falcon in the nest box program.

Well we decided to put these names up for a vote after taking suggestions from the community for a little while. We tried to offer up at least one option from everyo person who suggested a name.
How about Sooty. Mercury, and Particulate Matter?
