Curry power

The yellow root of Curcuma longa, otherwise known as the main ingredient in curry, is thought to enhance cognitive performance. Researchers at the National University of Singapore have discovered elderly people who eat curry have boosts in brain power.

Here’s another interesting curry finding. Recently published in the August issue of Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, curry paired with onions might help prevent colon cancer. However, researchers suggest consuming curry and other nutrients in a concentrated pill form.
