Despite a government ban on selling mini turtles as pets, health-related problems with the little critters are surging up again these days. This report shares how pet owners are catching salmonella from their little terrapins.

As a good general rule of thumb, don't go around kissing, licking or in any other shape or fashion putting turtles to your lips, even if they are a pet.
