Designs show new, improved Dinosaur National Monument visitor center

by Anonymous on Jul. 31st, 2009

The National Park Service has released design drawings for the new facility buildings to be built at Dinosaur National Monument. Monies from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 will be used to restore the monument's famous quarry building which was closed to the public in 2006 due to safety concerns. The unique paleontological site straddles the Utah-Colorado border near the town of Vernal, Utah.
