Chimpanzee banging out Shakespeare: "To walk or not to walk"... hmm, that doesn't sound quite right.Courtesy Public domain via WikipediaBecause of mechanical limitations in a chimpanzee's throwing arm, the old "monkeys with typewriters" metaphor may not bring the same results on the baseball diamond. Despite being weaker, slower and less agile than our chimp cousins, the hominid shoulder configuration may have given mankind the edge in hunting prey and fending off scavengers. The study appears in the journal Nature.
