Sharing water across boundariesCourtesy jonnyboy2005
In 2009, the theme for World Water Day is "Shared Water - Shared Opportunities". Over 40 percent of the world’s population resides within internationally shared river basins. Click on this link to learn more about why resolving conflicts related to transboundary water resources are important.
Did you see this video made by Good Magazine for World Water Day that re-imagines what those old Slip'N'Slide commercials would have been like if they had been made in a third world country?
Thanks for the link, Simon.
Well I believe thiis is a good topic to focus on as we are all sharing water sources... and we might be coming to a water crisis.
I didn't know that their was a water day!!!!!
The reflection on the water is cool
yeah,
the reflection on the water when the sun shines on it
is cool and awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope water will not ever run out or else we would die. Water is very important to all people.
Unless we lose our atmosphere, it is pretty much impossible for us to lose any water. It would just not always be in the form of a liquid.
