Maggot medicine: This is one of the grossest, and coolest, videos you'll see in a long time

by Thor on Apr. 24th, 2009

Remember the dead pig cam experiment Science Buzz conducted last fall? Click here to refresh your memory. Well, National Geographic has a video report on how maggots are used to clean wounds in medical procedures. You'll also get to see maggot decomposing other animals in this footage. You have been warned that this is very graphic footage.

I read this article and thought that it was interesting to see maggots that are used as medicine on human's body so I made a game on scratch about it. The maggot is the character and the maggot's goal is to try to eat all the dead stuff and avoid eating the living things just like the video that is post up.
