Oh that's sad. I grew up on Mr. Wizard as well. He was a big part of my generation too.

I totally remember him smashing a rose after dipping it into liquid nitrogen. I was always so jealous of my friends who had cable and insisted on checking for his show when I went over to their houses. He was a pioneer in getting kids science programing on TV.
