Hello,
I added a third photo of the Katydid that was untouched by Photoshop.
Sorry if it caused problems but I let Photoshop auto adjust without thinking. As you can see by the third photo of the Katydid is truly shocking pink. I owe this find to someone else that was looking at this and I saw the pink from 40 feet away and walked up to him to see what he was looking at.
I have been searching all over the net to find a picture of one of these to use on my desktop. Can't find one that is my size! 1280x1024. I wish Someone could get a larger sized picture!! They're Beautiful!!!!
To find large photos on the internet use google image search and in advanced search specify only images larger than "1024".

I have one that lives in my flower garden. It has been there for 5 days now. I thought it was a flower at first until I walked up to it. I was shocked to see it was a bright pink katydid. I feel very fortunate to have it eat my flowers. It can live here and eat all it wants!
I am an aide in Beaumont and today one of the kids in my class brought us a pink katydid for show and tell. We thought it was fake until it moved! It is the most coolest bug ever!!!! We didn't know these bugs existed!!!
i am doing a report on them they are invertebrates that are usually green and are seen every year in the Pennsylvania mountains. they are my favorite color!!
Is this for real? Can anyone verify this? It sure looks like a photoshoped picture to me.
