I hate floods they destroy everything in their way and make people sad amd homeless. The floods are like wrecking balls they desrtoy things and sometimes cause death. Why do we have floods anyway its sooooo weird that we do why cant we have no floods i think someone should do something about that
you cant stop floods like u cant stop mother nature, well yes floods do make alot of destuction there is noway to stop it well that's all i can reaally say ok
well i have been in the science buisness for years now and no one can mess with mother nature. she takes her own corses. Its so hard to be conservative sceincetist because i belive mother nature takes arecosrse and were going through global warming nnot because of us but because the earth is going through a cycle.
Ingenious idea! But I was left with a few nagging questions: How does the flood water get into the tubes? Who (what company) does this? So, naturally, I Googled "aquadam" and checked out the details. I recommend the Design tab and Engineering tab (it only sounds intimidating -- there's lots of pictures). Happy learning!
Thanks for the link Kelsi. Another company that claims to be the largest manufacturer of inflatable dams is U. S. Flood Control Corp. Click the link for photos and a long You Tube video.
Thank you, ARTIFactor! I was wondering why we don't hear more about these aquadams, but I guess the $350/day/tube price tag explains it -- especially when there's an ample supply of Minnesota-nice volunteers to make and install sandbag dams for pennies.
I Hate Floods!
It doesnt matter if you hate floods. they are natural. cant stop them.
why they sometimes are helpfull
