The replica viking ship Sea Stallion from Glendalough set off from Roskilde, Denmark, yesterday (July 1) on the start of it's 1,200-mile recreation of a viking journey some 1,000 years ago. The 100-foot ship is heading to Dublin for a mid-August arrival. More details, photos and daily updates can be found on the Sea Stallion's web page. And more details about the trip can be found on an earlier Science Buzz post from this summer.
